The name Moonflower Jewelry came to me quite naturally. I was always intrigued by the beautiful large white flowers that grow on the moonflower vine. When these flowers open for the night, they appear to glow in the moonlight with an iridescent quality that brings the night world alive. One doesn’t expect to find flowers blooming so vibrantly at night.

This process mirrors my nightly experience in my studio. It too blooms throughout the evening hours where my mind is opened and I am free to explore and create the endless possibilities of my work. My world is transformed and I find unexpected beauty through my creations. Like the moonflower, this special time fades with the morning light only to be replaced again the following evening.
